Tauck Employees Assemble 3,000+ Food Packs for Local Kids


WILTON, CT (October 27, 2017)  Nearly 200 Tauck employees joined forces with the Connecticut Food Bank on Monday and Tuesday of this week to assemble more than 3,000 packs of nutritious foods for low-income school children in the area.  The completed packs each contain staple food supplies - dried pasta, pasta sauce, apple sauce, milk and cereal – and they will be distributed to local school children on Fridays, to ensure they and their families have enough to eat on weekends when school-based food programs don’t operate and children face an increased risk of hunger.

Tauck’s ms Sapphire, First Riverboat Reconfigured During Two-Year Initiative, Returns to Service


WILTON, CT (April 6, 2017)  Tauck officially welcomed the ms Sapphire back into its riverboat fleet in Paris, France, on Monday following a massive reconfiguration of the vessel’s interior spaces.  The Sapphire is the first of Tauck’s four 110-meter ships to complete the radical transformation process.  The company’s ms Emerald was also reconfigured over this past winter and will return to Tauck’s fleet later this week.  The ms Sapphire sails on Tauck’s Seine river cruises, while the ms Emerald is deployed on the Rhone.  The two remaining 110-meter ships, the ms Treasures and ms Esprit, will undergo identical enhancements next winter and return prior to Tauck’s 2018 sailing season.
